What are peoples thoughts on the restarts here? DO you all like the single file restarts? I know I like the Deleware restarts (leader is out front, 2nd place chooses top or bottom then they line up double file behind the leader). I think this keeps the action alot closer. We did this back home and the action was always good. You dont have the last pace car half a lap behind before the green even flies. We did that after the first lap was finished and would do it until 3 laps left or 4 cautions.

WE DID THIS ONE YEAR, SOME LIKED IT AND SOME DID NOT. I AM NOT IN FAVOR OF IT, ONLY FOR THE FACT SOME HAVE PROBLEMS DRIVING IN A SINGLE FILE RESTART, AND IT CAN MAKE FOR A LONG SHOW. DAVE

DELAWARE DOUBLE FILE RESTARTS IS THE ONLY WAY TO GO!!!!!! MAKES THE RACING MORE EXCITING FOR THE FANS AND HELPS THE GOOD DRIVERS GET TO THE FRONT QUICKER!!!!!!!

OK, MAYBE I WORDED THAT WRONG......... FANS COME TO SEE ACTION AND DOUBLE FILE RESTARTS GIVES THE FANS MORE ACTION THEN FOLLOW THE LEADER......."LIKE WATCHING PAINT DRY".......... PLUS IT'S MORE CHALLENGING FOR THE DRIVERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That does sound like a pretty good concept. I know all about being the guy in the end of the single file line. lol

We had problems with taking awhile at first, but then people get it figured out...we also had a 2 caution rule where if you caused 2 yellows you were done for that race....that sped the show up alot because people were not spinning out then waiting for the yellow so they wouldnt be so far behind. I think the deleware restarts are great for action like Bud said....you dont get the follow the leader all the time.

Another thing that helped speed the show up was the raceiver. I know it is more money to be put out by the drivers but it did speed our shows up...we had 7 classes, raced on sunday nights, started at 6 and i was usually home by 10 ith a 20 minute drive and the car count was well over 100 every week. I would think that alot of the drivers here already have the equipment if they race at any other track, and for those who do not the track can get extras and rent them out each night. Just a thought. I am sorry about my babbling tonight, just kind of thinking out loud here....lol...MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE.

DOSH WE RAN SEVERAL TRACKS IN PA THAT RUN 6 CLASSES WITH WELL OVER A 100 CARS WITH NO RACECIVERS AND STARTED AT 7 AND DONE BY 11......THE PIT PARTY STARTED AT 11.30.... LOL, RACING IN THE NORTH IS WAY DIFFERENT THEN RACING DOWN HERE, WITCH YOU WILL LEARN I'M SURE!!!!!! YOU JUST WON'T BELIEVE IT.........

SOMETHING ELSE THAT WILL SPEED THE SHOW UP IS 15 LAP FEATURES FOR ALL BUT MODS AND LATE MODELS, THIS WILL HELP DRASTICLY IN SPEEDING UP THE SHOW.
