Unfortunately I am posting this to inform everyone that I have resigned as the announcer at Putnam County Speedway, effective immediately. I have accepted the position of track announcer at Bronson Motor Speedway and will begin that job this coming Saturday, weather permitting. Bronson had a better offer, with less travel distance and far fewer hassles.

No matter what we do to improve things at PCS, a whole list of others automatically try to undo it. The result is that we go a few steps forward and then slide back, resulting in almost no progress. It is frustrating and aggravating, and I'm tired of the stress it creates.

And in addition, the constant derogatory statements and nastiness posted online in response to any and all positive info about PCS is simply too much. It makes it impossible to achieve anything positive when so much negative stuff is constantly being said.

I have made quite a few friends at PCS and I hope that I can keep them, but I will understand if folks are angry at me for leaving. I'll be at Ocala Speedway on Friday nights doing what I always do there, and at Bronson on Saturdays.

Best of luck to all of you, and hopefully you guys can somehow figure out how to make PCS survive despite everything it has going against it.

Lol John, you're right, shit happens. We all hate to see Bj go. But it's not the end of the world, PCS has gone thru announcer changes before!
To bad Tiny wasn't still announcing, he did a great job and I enjoyed hearing him announce, mainly because he knows most all of the drivers and some of their past experiences, so he kept the fans entertained by talking about things like that!

Man that sucks...I enjoyed listening to BJ....He brought some good changes with him.....Lets hope the changes he brought will stick....I cannot believe how smooth the show went last week....
